The past few months of releases have been insanely packed with Cozy Indie Goodness and June is no exception. These are just a few that I’m planning to snuggle up with and I think you should too!
Oddfauna: Secret of the Terrabeast | June 2nd (Early Access)
Crossfall Games
It’s cute, it’s fun, and it’s all hand sculpted, which is pretty impressive when you see how much that entails. Having backed this project all the way back in 2021, I’ve been anxiously awaiting its release, even just this early access. I want to farm and befriend the precious little Oddfauna. Maybe I’ll even build a little house for us to all hang out at. What could be cozier than that?

Solarpunk | June 8th
Cyberwave
Floating islands will never not be a cool concept to me. The ability to traverse them in your own little airships or turn the smaller ones into airships themselves just makes it even cooler. I can only think of one other game (Aloft) where I’ve gotten to do something kind of similar and that was a hoot. So, I’m expecting no less enjoyment from Solarpunk. Looking forward to figuring out the gadgets, keeping the chores tended to, while I spend countless hours decorating my home in the sky.

Puni the Florist | June 8th
Earthquack Games
Here you join Puni as she opens her own flower shop and finds herself. Having just finished all the available story content for Thrifty Business, I am super pumped to be able to dive into another cozy shop sim this soon. Not even counting the fact that I’ve never gotten the opportunity to do one where my entire job is arranging bouquets! If you were a fan of Flowers and Favours, this looks very reminiscent of the gameplay.

Tavern Talk Stories: Dreamwalker | June 9th
Gentle Troll Entertainment
Games in a D&D world will always catch the attention of my household. So it was without surprise that I got to experience watching my husband play the first Tavern Talk game. Characters made in that world will always intrigue us and make us want to dive deeper. This means a game set 36 years before the events of that one is bound to end up on our wishlists! There’s something just so relaxing about sitting back and serving virtual drinks to a cast of magical characters.

Witchspire | June 10th (Early Access)
Envar Games
My creature collecting, anime loving, survival crafting self does not know what else I could possibly ask for out of a game. It really does look like if I want it, this game has it. Described as an open world witch adventure, there’s bound to be unique biomes, explosive combat, and magical stories.

Beastro | June 11th
Timberline Studio
Beastro brings you card battles, minigames, farming, ranching, and more. This is such a fun and different take on those card battlers too. Because the meals you make for your patrons actually generate their deck. Each ingredient brings them something different. Those decks are important because it protects them when they go out on their adventures. Helping us unlock more story content, get new ingredients, and more.

Tales of Seikyu | June 11 (1.0 Release)
ACE Entertainment
This one might look familiar as it was just a little over a year ago that Tales of Seikyu came into Early Access. Luckily for us the team has been hard at work and the full release is just a few days away! The work they have put in really shows through as it is probably one of the most beautiful farming life sims I have ever tried or seen. I am really hopeful and excited about the new content in store for us because the world lore is very unique and specific to Tales of Seikyu. I have so many questions that need answered, but really…where have our people gone?

Keepers of the Keep | June 12th (Early Access)
KINJAKO
Keepers of the Keep is a narrative game that lets the dice decide your future. While you still make your own choices, the dice decide how well those choices pan out. Between work, romance, and questing there’s a lot of opportunities for things to go well, but just as many for them to go badly. Will the dice help you get one of the favorable endings out of the 25 possible?
