Indie Highlights | 5/17 – 5/23

Welcome back to the weekly indie round up!

There are some really great titles hitting this week that you should put on your radar. Personally, I’m most excited for Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core. I’ve had my hands deep in the dwarven mines for years and I love seeing that franchise expand. Ghost Ship is doing some incredible work. Andy picked pick out the long awaited return of our ferocious feline friend Bubsy in Bubsy 4D and Steve is comin’ in hot with R-Type Dimensions III. Graviton Core | May 17th
Emberflight Games

JPGames is first up on the list with Graviton Core. You are an anomaly. A force that bends space, absorbs incoming projectiles, and turns chaos into power. Thrifty Business | May 18th
Spellgarden Games

Time to get a little Cozy! In Thrifty Business, you’ll set up and manage your very own 90’s-inspired vintage thrift shop. Search through boxes filled with pre-loved gems and use them to create gorgeous displays. Unlock furniture, decorations, wallpaper & floors to create a beautiful community space that brings everybody together!

Adjust your layout and organize your shelves and racks to the finest detail. Group your wares by colour, theme, purpose, or whatever you like. The more organized your store is, the more community points you’ll get to unlock new goodies! Customize the furniture, wallpaper, flooring and decor to make your store as welcoming and cozy as possible. As business grows, you might even need to expand into the adjacent rooms!

Deep Rock Galactic: Rogue Core | May 20th

Bubsy 4D | May 22nd

Join Bubsy on a new, intergalactic, platforming adventure! Yeah, we couldn’t believe it either. The world’s most infamous, wise-cracking bobcat has returned to 3D with new challenges, new moves, and even more purrsonality – in space! Run, jump, glide, and roll across alien planets, battle robotic sheep, and collect tons and tons of yarn. What could possibly go wrong?

Bubsy’s longstanding enemies, the fleece-obsessed Woolies, have stolen all of the Earth’s sheep. Oh well, that ain’t Bubsy’s problem. Until the sheep overthrow their captors and return as deadly BaaBots, empowered by Woolie technology, determined to steal Bubsy’s most prized possession, The Golden Fleece.

With the help of his motley crew of acquaintances, Bubsy must journey through space to defeat the BaaBots and take back the Golden Fleece. Luckily, he’s acquired some new skills to navigate the expansive, craft-themed levels. Bubsy can leap, glide, claw his way up walls, and pounce off enemies. He can also puff up into a new hairball form to roll at blistering speeds.
