Solis Game Studios announced in a press release today that it’s new game Six-Sided Seas will release later this summer at GenCon.

“Six-Sided Seas gameplay involves rolling dice to generate crew members that can be assigned to stations on a pirate ship. After each roll, players can choose to roll again or stop, but they must be careful not to exceed their limit and bust. The stations on the ship allow players to deal damage to opposing pirate ships, explore islands, or search for gold.

Players will be able to select a strategy to meet one of three win conditions: sinking their opponent’s ship, reaching the maximum gold coin limit, or controlling the majority of the explorable islands on the map. In addition, the game features simple components – a roll-up playmat and standard six-sided dice – that allow for compact storage and easy transport.”

This game looks right up my alley. Dice Rolling, Push-your-luck strategy, and Dice Placement: That sounds like my kind of fun!

Check out more about the game -> Here and look out for release July 30th at GenCon!
