Lynnvander Studios has a reputation for grabbing a well known IP and fitting it into a board game box. From Terminator to Buffy the Vampire Slayer they seem to have a knack for screen to game translations. Pop Art Games and Lynnvander Studios have teamed up to bring yet another Iconic franchise to your table. On June 9th the Dragon Ball Z: The Board Game Saga will be hitting Kickstarter!

Dragon Ball Z: The Board Game Saga is a Co-operative game for up to 4 players. It will span multiple Arcs of the famous Manga and play out in “Episodes”. Choose from In each episode players with be tasked with defeating all the enemies on the board. To do this they’ll have to strategically manage their power levels and stress. The higher your power level, the more actions you get in combat. Use those action points to activate techniques, roll some dice, and stop the enemies from gathering all 7 Dragon Balls.

We don’t know exactly what sagas the base game will launch with but it seems that this system is built to expand. We all know there’s more than enough Dragon Ball content to potentially keep Dragon Ball Z: The Board Game Saga alive for a long long time.

Sign up to follow along or just keep an eye out for the Kickstarter launching June 9th – Here!
